Dr. Ortiz loves practicing orthodontics and enjoys seeing how beautiful smiles thrill her patients. The ability to create exceptional orthodontic outcomes and to develop lifelong relationships with her patients are things Dr. Ortiz feels very fortunate she can provide. She is dedicated to her patients and ensuring that their feelings and concerns are heard and that they are treated like family.
Dr. Ortiz grew up in Chandler, Arizona, and attended Arizona State University (Go Devils!) before attending dental school at UCLA. In an effort to experience dentistry and a completely different area of the country, Dr. Ortiz moved to Connecticut where she completed her orthodontic training at the University of Connecticut.
After several years away studying dentistry and orthodontics, Dr. Ortiz is happy to be back home in Arizona with her husband and her one and four-year-old sons. In her free time, Dr. Ortiz enjoys running, skiing, hiking, and spending time in the mountains with her family.
It is important to Dr. Ortiz that she treats her patients with the latest techniques in orthodontics. In an effort to keep up with the latest technologies, Dr. Ortiz attends courses regularly and meets locally with orthodontic study clubs to discuss treatment with her colleagues.
Dr. Ortiz is board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics and maintains memberships with the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, and the Arizona Dental Association.
